As heart-wrenching as it is to see your daughter’s pain you must be the adult and responsible pet owner and put Echo out of his pain.
Utilize the grief counselor for your daughter.
Death is part of the cycle of life and a reality that your sweet daughter needs to face.
she is a child so she is focusing on not wanting to lose her beloved pet.
As you know it is never easy to say goodbye to a dear family member but can you rationalize Echo’s continued pain since the meds are not working?
My heart goes out to you and your entire family.
If you do a Google search of ” animal death children’s books” there are some available.
We have a local vet that also provides children’s grief counseling and gives the book out.
God bless all of you.
Remember that Echo will be waiting for you at “The Rainbow Bridge,”
Prayer: The ultimate wireless communication. Remember God loves you & I truly care!
